XOS was founded in upstate New York in 1990, is based in East Greenbush and belongs to Veralto. The company manufactures X-ray analyzers for elemental determination as well as X-ray optics; alongside laboratory benchtop instruments, versions for continuous use at the process are available. Target industries are refineries, petrochemicals, biofuels and plastics pyrolysis.
