PDW Analytics GmbH

PDW Analytics GmbH, based in Potsdam/Golm, Germany, was founded in 2013 as a spin-off of the innoFSPEC research centre and offers photon density wave (PDW) spectroscopy, a fibre-optic process analysis method for strongly light-scattering emulsions and suspensions. Using intensity-modulated lasers, the method determines absorption and reduced scattering coefficients and from them concentrations as well as particle and droplet sizes without dilution. The company also provides consulting on particle sizing, process understanding and process optimization.
